I have a new Tank and put in some liquid from the aquatic store turned the skimmer off for 2 days put it back on today and just checked the water and still no change in the cycle how long should I give it ????

How long has the tank been cycling? How are you cycling the tank? What are the current parameters that you are concerned about in this 'pause' of your cycle?

Cycling for two weeks buddy water samples still read 0

Try the shrimp method, add a few chuxks of shrimp (frozen or fresh doesn't matter) and dump it off into a old pair of panty hose and tie in a knot, toss that into your filter area and wait. Bam, it'll cycle just fine on its own that way cause the shrimp will be breaking down and creating ammonia.
