New To Saltwater

hi im new to this and need some help. i have a 56 gal cube tank i filter which pumps 600rpm power head that pumps 300rpm (dont have the stuff in front of me sry) i have about 5 pounds of live rock and 25 pounds of base rock, the salt is mixed and its been running for a week and a half my temp is always at 79-80 mt salt level is usually at 1.027 im going to get a test kit tomorow just wana make sure im doing things right plz someone help thnks
