newbe needs advice

I have a just built a saltwater tank. 86"long,24"high,14"wide. plan on fish only. what kind of lighting will I need.

If you plan on fish only then all you really need is NO lighting. If you have LR you might want to upgrade to some PC lighting to induce corraline algae growth, but other than that there is no need for additional lighting.

Pc is a good choice for whatever you decide to put in i have NO with LR and the coral line is there but not full so i agree that pc would be a nicer investment

but on that long of a tank, u don't think enough pc's to stretch across would cost too much. It might be cheaper to just throw on a couple of 6' NO's, or if for coraline maybe even a couple of VHO's
