To cycle all you need are a flow device LR salt and water (plus the heater). You will also want an ammonia and nitrite test, the api liquid tests for fw/sw are the same for ammonia nitrite and nitrate so if you have a fw kit you can use that, but after cycle if you plan on a reef you'll need a reef test kit and good lifhting

+1 also will need an ammonia source. A raw shrimp from the grocery store works best. Put it in a filter media or other mesh type bag and toss it in the tank.
