If you are doing a regualr cycle with no fish, then you have to redose the ammonia back up to say 4ppm. the nitrites will actually go to 0 all by themselves at some point. that would be a true cycle and not halfway done. This is the halfway mark in my mind, just gotta get them trites converted to trates and you'll be set.
