Just for kicks, about how much longer for a full cycle after the nitites peak? TIA.

There is no set time period all tanks are different.... Could be days or weeks. How much LR or LS and how long has the tank been running.

I forgot the ammonia reading but it was between the furthest and second furthest reading on the test strip.

Nitrites were 30 ppm, the furthest reading on the scale.

I would wait a little longer. You want 0 nitrites, 0 nitrates, and 0 ammonia. Also, check your pH to make sure it is stable(8.2, 8.3) as well.
It took my tank 4 weeks until the cycle was complete.

Mike

Correction (I'm home now), ammonia is almost 200 ppm and nitites are 10 ppm.

Yes, I know to definetly wait. Just was wondering if I'm 1/2 way there, 3/4, whatever. Thanks again
