So I started my tank about 8 months ago. I liked the wast skeleton corals looked... Well the look got old. I wanted something more. I did a lot of looking around or cured/live rock. 1 day I stumbled upon a guy who had 150lbs for sale. I offered him $80 and he accepted! I was stoked. I came home and washed off the rock. After getting some good advice from this forum I cured the rock for 1 week. Tonite I took removed the rock from my curing station and let it dry. Tomorrow I will be glueing pieces together. I will hopefully be installing the new rock into my tank this weekend. Here are a few pictures of my tank currently, and a few of my new rock.

Pictures don't tell a thing. Not glueing, too many cons...

Hi there nub,
Did you cure the rock in a separate tank (flow, heated, skimmed, water changed) then did you let it dry ?

Yes in that same order. I tried to let it dry so I could glue it today, but I changed my mind about glueing. There are just too many cons to making rock permanent.

Looks really good! I like it. I'm not an expert in aquascaping, but it it were my tank, I'd take away a few rocks from each side to leave more room on the sides. I think it may look a little more spacious. Just my 2 cents, no matter what you do I think it looks great and I can't wait to see how this tank will look!

I think tho is better. So many caves and hiding spots. These pics do no justice.
