Obscure fish stock suggestions

I have a 40 gallon tank reef. I've always been into weirdo fish especially in freshwater but I want obscure looking fish that are still pretty in color any suggestions???

Not in a 40, they get over a foot. What about an angler but that's all you could really have.

You could keep a box fish for almost two years before they get to big. Angler would be my second suggestion

If you want interesting fish, go to this website and find if any stores close to you sell their captive bread fish, http://www.orafarm.com/
They have some pretty cool stuff, most of it is perfect for smaller tanks.
