What is everyone using to paint the backs of their tanks? I spent the last 3 days coating mine, pulled the tape and the paint all peeled off with it

I use flat black exterior latex Paint. Use exterior cause it's waterproof. I put 5 coats on huh a roller.

I use spray on acrylic called Plasti-dip. Works great, looks awesome, and if you don't want it anymore, you start a peel with a razor and then just pull it off. No need for heavy scraping or chicals to remove it.

I stopped using paint and just went with black contact paper. Tape it around the edges and you should be good to go. Just a thought. I personally just got tired of the mess.
