Hey does anyone know what the best color to paint the back of a saltwater tank is? Maybe skittle colors na to hard.
 
I had a blue background on a 55gal for years and loved it. It really looked good with the blue vs. pink coraline. Now I have a black background (see my avatar) and liked the blue better! All a matter of what you want.
 
I recently upgraded to an 55 gal and chose to use blue and black together. Not mixing them exactly, but using blue on one edge of the brush and black on the other edge and it came out beautiful. My past 30 gal was just blue and it did not seem to have any depth to it.

That sounds beautiful! I would love to see a picture!

I did my new 58 gallon in mottled dark greens, it looks awesome.
