Please help!! Nautilus TE Protein Skimmer

I have a 150 gal tank w/ 40 gal sump underneath. I bought the Nautilus TE with the tank and it is in the sump. Ever since day 1 this skimmer has been giving fits and immediately overflowing. I have to constantly turn it off b/c it fills the overflow container up within a few minutes. Everything I could think of I have tried to decrease the amount of time it takes for the bubbles to overflow. Is there anyone who can help me?

I'm guessing but if you raise the pump up in the sump you will have a lower water column in the pump. This "may" reduce the water discharge from the skimmer.

Like I said, I'm only guessing and am not familiar with your equiptment.

Charlie is right. I have the same one and if the water column is not in the right spot, the cup will fill up too fast and overflow. You will have to play with it to find the sweet spot. Hope this helps.
