What is better for circulation in a 75gal fowlr tank? What is the difference between the to?

A powerhead is a pump with an inlet and an outlet and produces linear flow. (think water going through a pipe.). A circulation pump is more like a fan in the water. It does produce a current, but it is much more random. The maxi jet pro line by Marineland can convert back and forth by changing the impeller and cover. You get more flow from the same piece of equipment in the circulation configuration.

I was looking at these to get started. I have 1 powerhead in the tank now and just wanted to get more flow. I noticed alot of people say the more movement the better is this true?

What are any opinion these wavemakers I know they are cheaper ones but will they work until I began making larger investments?

I would just add another Powerhead that will give you a lot more flow.
