I have a 60 fish only tank and I am think of putting in a power head with an adjustable flow up that can be adjusted from 300 gph up to 3000 gph.
I was wondering if the max of 3000 gph is too powerful for my fish to swim against or will tire them out and cause problems? If it is to powerful does anyone have any answers of what the max gph I should set it too should be?

Thanks!

Typically you want anywhere between 8-15X tank turnover per hour. So if you have a 60 gallon tank it would be between 500-900 gph. Maybe 1000 gph but I'm guessing the fish will be working hard with anything over that. What type of fish do you have?

I have 2 clown fish, 1 yellow watchman gobie, and 1 banggai cardinal fish

It should be ok. Again, I wouldn't run it much more than 1000 gph. You'll be able to tell by how hard your fish are working then adjust until they are comfortable.
