but after 6 months of planning and waiting, the display tank is finally up and ready for 120 lbs of LR from liverocks.com, arriving Friday. Woo hoo. Anyway, I'm planning on doing a carbonated water dip to try and catch Unwanted Hitchhikers. So the dumb question is . . . . what do I do with them then? I know some folks plunk them in another tank, but I don't have the room or will for that. I don't want to kill them . . . will a LFS maybe take them off my hands? Or should I try my local reef club? I guess if I had to I could euthanize them with clove oil and the freezer, but that goes contrary to what I believe about my responsibilites to animals I bring into my home.

What did you all do with critters you didn't want?

try o street aquarium. A friend of mine says they will take unwanted hitchhikers. I am not sure if they still do but they are in Sacramento. HTH!
