Protein skimmer in a 29 gallon. Share your great wisdom!

I am currently in the middle of cycling my 29 gallon tank, and want to order my protein skimmer so it will be in by the time my cycle is complete. I am looking for a skimmer that costs around $150 or less, will not take up much room in my 29 gallon tank, and is a good brand. Please let me know your thoughts/suggestions! Thanks!
