Purple looking fur on live rocks?

I'm cycling my tank and I have a purple looking fur on the rocks in the main display. What is it? Also like I said I'm cycling the tank and I have shrimp in my refugium, should I move the shrimp to main tank. Diatoms started to grow on the sand bed in refugium not the display tank though.

There are a lot of weird things in your tank as it cycles, it may disappear but if it doesn't it's because you have dead spots in flow.

The solution to that would be adjust your powerheads/get more, and siphon what you can out.

I just say for now wait it out and see what happens
