hi, i'm new to the board and i think its awesome. i have 2 questions. i have an old 2.5 gallon mini tank. can i use it for a quarantine tank? also how long do i need to quarantine my fish. Thanks.

2.5 gallons will be Ok for most, but I, personaly, would be uncomfortable putting any medium to large fish in there as you should have them in the QT for at least two to three weeks. and thats just not a lot of room for them to move freely. You can check out an article we have here on Quarentines.
