QT setup

I need help setting up my 10 gallon quarantine tank. I bought a 150$ blue faced angel and it died due to an ammonia spike. I have a aqua clear 30 and a 50 watt heater.

Well, you are almost there. Get a cheap $8 air pump from a pet store and some PVC pipes from Home Depot. Also, it's nice to have a cheaper light running on a timer over the QT on the same schedule as your main tank. That way your fish will be used to your "time zone " from day 1. You can treat preventatively with Prazipro or other medication.
