QT tank set up question

are there any qt tank threads or articles already running that outline how to set one up (a 10g)

So basically all's you need for a 10g quar tank is the following;

1. sponge filter
2. air pump
3. some plastic plants or pvc pipes for the fish.
4. heater (50w)

*And the water should come from the main tank correct?

One last question. After you are finished with the tank do most guy's take it down till the next time?

Yes, you can take it down until the next time. Just keep a seeded sponge in your sump, you can set up again in a snap.
Also be ready to do frequent water changes to help control ammonia and nitrite in your qt. A good cycle is hard to accomplish in a qt tank.
