For thw QT i know they say the water should be as close to you display tank. Do i have to add magnesium to my QT cuz i do to my Main.

just use the water from your main tank in your QT. Don't go the other way. It might be bad to put your QT water in your DT.lol

There are some easy and some hard lps corals. you must have at least t5ho lighting. most require atleast moderate flow. when you decide just ask everybody about specific corals. asking if LPS corals are hard to care for is like asking if all fish are hard to care for.lol

gotcha bout the corals, but if i do water changes in my QT do i have to add Magnesium to it since i add it to my display.

you could just use water from you DT to do the changes. That way you only must add and test for mag in one place
