I was wonderin if I could add an ell to my tank. It's a 46 gal reef tank. Plenty of LR. Don't know if I can or should. If I can what type should I get, I'm trying to keep it a cominity tank.

If your trying to keep your tank community then I'd have to recommend against getting an Eel for your tank. They eat anything they can swallow so they are generally only for fowlr tanks with other predators that are at least equal size to the Eel, preferably bigger then the eel so he doesn't get any ideas. They also can grow quite large from 2-5 feet, and even the smallest one (snowflake Eel) needs a tank of at least 50 gallons. Sorry to burst your bubble.
