Well yes maybe? IMHO you are being over cautious, I would think the worst you could get from your LR is a mantis, or maybe a hitchhiker of some other description, but don't take that personally cos we are all entitled to our opinion

My earlier post was in reference to just checking the LR to see if it was cured. As far as putting the rock through qt, well you have heard from both sides already.

Mark I and no one I know QT there rock with no issues... But if it makes you happy then its not a bad idea if you dont mind waiting. Being safe in this hobby is not a bad thing...
I would not sweat the water changes till they show up if cured you will be fine. Let us know what the LR looks like whe you get it....

I'm going to put it in QT just for a week to check for ammonia.

Shelton: the FW dip you mentioned - do most ppl do this with LR?
