Quick question about live rock

Finally got a name for it!

It's an Aiptasia!

I haven't noticed anymore yet so I guess that's lucky, I'll have nothing left on the rock if I remove it! Booo!

yep. I had a tank and i had a aiptasia and i didnt worry about cause it was just one. Well about a month later they were growing on the glass rocks everywhere! So no need to get rid of it the first day but don't wait more then a week to get rid of it

lol your welcome. My best method to get rid of it is either buying aiptasia x or getting some pickling lime from the grocery store then add some water to that to make it a paste. Kills them in a snap. But both a about equivelent IME

I was just going to remove the rock and try and tweezer it off?

You shouldn't do that. You could boil it off though

If you even miss one little piece it will explode in growth. So you can try it but chances are it will come back with some new ones to

Hmm, what's happening to the aiptasia?

I haven't managed to get a syringe to get rid of it yet.

Today I looked and it and its gone shorter, white base and there are NO tentacles left on it now.
