R/O unit...help on hooking it up.

I recently purchased a R/O unit. I have the filter put together, and ready to hook into the pipes. My question(s) generally relate to the plumbing.

1. Do I have to use the piercing tool or is there a way to hook it up with out putting it under my kitchen sink. I would like to put it in the laundry room.

Thats the first question....lets start there.

You should be able to buy a garden hose faucet adapter at home depot.

Thats what I would have thought too, until I saw the hose. Its a little tiny thing. About the width of a pensil. Do they adapt down that small?

Yes. Home depot should sell RO units, ask where they are and where the replacement parts are, should be one in there
