ready to take the plunge

Thanks to to everyones help here I have had the marine aquarium going strong for awhile now with only 1 death(**** copperband stopped eating)...Anyway I have a 75gallon witha bout 100lbs of liverock. My lighting is a custome sealife powercompact with moonlites...

I have done some purchasing of some good reef books(im just starting to read) etc, so i want to start with some hearty corals. Liveaquaria.com has a beginner starter pack with some button polyps, hairy mushroom coral, yellow polyp, and a green flo mushroom. Should I go for this or go to lfs and start selecting them out(there pretty expensive at the lfs). If that starter pack isnt good what are some goods one to start with!!!

Thanks

Tony

A starter pack is designed to give you a great head start and it sounds like those would be great. They are easy to keep and require very minimal light. They are also forgiving of loss then prefect water conditions. My first was a rock with hairy mushrooms and they've been doing great for 2 years. I have even had two leave the nest and roost elsewhere.. Good luck to both of you ..
