Red sea salt

Just started our tank Boxing Day and are now moving on to Red Sea salt mix previously I have been mixing, heating to temp then letting it sit for few hours at temp is this ok or would you recommend leaving it over night?

You should try to mix for 12 hours atleast but a lot of people shoot for a full day.

That's the point it's supposed to be safe if all mixed but nothing bad happens if you mix longer... I usually do overnight or 24hrs

Thank you all for the input only a couple problems to go and I'm golden one is alk the other algae but I'm getting a sand sifter in the weekend so that's one solved and I'm hoping switching over to Red Sea salt should take care of my alk prob. Although everything in the tank is thriving so i'm not overly panicky
