Reef Crystals?

So if I don't have sps corals should I bother with reef crystals or will it just load my tank with supplements that won't be taken up? I have been using it for a while and my mag is high. What do you guys think will it be an issue to change salt?

I don't bother with reef crystals I use just the sea salt

I'd stick with a reef grade salt, and change the salt slowly. I usually do it over the course of a month, mixing the new and old salt during wc's m, and each change add a little higher percentage of the new salt
