I have two clown fish and 1 blue tang with lots of corals, snails and hermit crab. Are these reef safe or harmful to my fish??

eels and triggers are carnivores. no. they are not reef safe. there are extenuating circumstances however.

yeah triggers are lil gremlins, dont get me wrong they are amazing fish, but will tear up inverts most of the time and coral as well

The ribbon eel is a very difficult fish to keep from the research I have done, they seldom live over a month and over 2 years is seldom heard of. IMO it is one of those beautiful fish that should be left on the reef until more known why they are so delicate.
