Ok, now I am totally confused. First I read not to use salt water to top off the tank and then I read where you add salt to the RO water before adding to tank. You need to add salt to the RO water before adding?

when your topping off your tank dont add salt, water evaporates salt doesnt

so topping off dont mix with salt but if doing a partial water change you would mix the RO with salt?
