RO unit buying question

Hey i finally getting a RO until. quick question before i order. i was thinking about getting a 24 gpd ro until but is it a big deal to have RO/DI or not. also should i still put chemicals in the ro water to make it safer? thanks

I'd say for a reef tank, go with the ro/di. Have you measured the phosphates from your tap? I'm not a fan of any additves or otherwise chemicals to water. What kinds are you thinking might be needed?

I agree get the DI. The RO/DI will make the water usable as is. No additives required except salt.

With your size tank I think a 75GPD should work for you.... I would suggest a unit if you like....
