saltwater fishless cycling

So i'm getting ready to set up my first saltwater reef tank. I've successfully cycled three freshwater tanks. How should I do a fishless cycle in saltwater setup?

A) just cycle the saltwater as you would freshwater and then add live rock.

B) add live rock and just let it cycle that way

C) add live rock and ammonia also

Pretty sure its not C but I've been searching and haven't really found anything definitive

Add the live rock while you are cycling. I use a shrimp to speed up the cycling process. Make sure the shrimp is raw.
