Seio m1500

I just purchased a Seio m1500 and placed it in my tank. Every so often, the pump will make this grinding type noise and then spit out a ton of micro-bubbles into the tank. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is the pump defective? Thanks!

I have 2 Seio 820's, and they occasionally do the same thing. It only lasts a second and then stops. It almost seems like it has air built-up inside, and is expelling it at once. I cant find anything wrong with mine.

Can you call the customer support number, if they have one?

Sounds like your impeller might be slightly loose. Follow these maintenance instructions to see if that’s the case.

I guess that it worked. When I took it apart, I didn't notice anything wrong it. I haven't seen it do that again.
