So i want to set up a refugium in order to support a diet for a mandarin goby. so when i seed it with copepods can i just scoop the copepods out of it and put them in the main tank for the mandarin to eat?

If you get enough in there, yes. One way of doing it is also putting filter floss in the refugium as well and they'll inhabit there...then simply dump them from there into the display.

A loofa sponge works perfect for me. Someone here recommended it and it works great. About once a week I scoop it into the return section and then shake shake Shake the pods out. I do it after lights out so they get a chance to get into the rocks before everybody eats them.

Lol I have question. My refugium is almost done. Do I have to put live rock in their or can I put somethin else?
