Should Protine Skimmer Run while Cycling

Hi Guys,
I am Very new at all this and i love it!!
I am Cycling my Tank but i dont see a ammonia Spike yet??
I got a new Solana 34g, 150 watt HQI and i am curing my Live rock 30 pounds Vanuatu.
I set up my Tank 4 weeks ago and nothing yet?
I have Put 2 Shrimp in already.
2 Weeks ago i put in 4 Snails and 12 Hermit Crab.
1 Week ago i put in 2 Blue Green Chromis
salinity:1.026
Temp : 75-80C
PH: 8.4
Nitrates : >10 ( almost none)
Amonia : >0.02
Water: from a 5 stage RO/DI

Skimmer is working
Day and night lights are working to 10h day 14 night

Should i just wait? or do something about it..?

BTW all Live stock looks like its doing well.

If you bought good rock that was cured, and you put it right into your tank, it is possible to never see a cycle. The ammonia is normaly caused from the bacterias and things on the rock dieing off because of it being out of water for extended periods of time.

The Rock I Bough was not Cured.
The Guy at the Store told me since i am running a new Tank its ok to Cure the Rock as a Cycle my Tank.

I guess i want to know if its safe to put in some fish yet?

When Can i start putting in some coral? and what type would be a good start?

If you've got uncured rock, it will likely cause a cycle. The dead stuff on it raises ammonia. Nice to get the ammonia up to 4.0 IMO. If you can do that with just rock, OK. If not, add the grocery store shrimp.

No fish. No inverts yet. And definitaly no coral. Read the article at this site on fishless cycling. Read ANY article on cycling a tank. I'm thinking you don't know what "cycling" is yet.

yes i know how the Cycle works,
And yes i put in a shrimp already.. and the reason why i put in love live stock is to boost the ammonia.
I just want to know how long should i wait to see the Ammonia Spike?
Its been 4 weeks now ?
