Shrimp Cycling a 55gal HELP

I went to my local Grocery store to pick up some shrimp in the seafood section. What they had for shrimp is large shrimp that say freshwater shrimp.. Will these work the same to start the cycle of a 55gal

I would think these would be ok. What your looking for is an ammonia source. the frehwater shrimp should decompose just as good as the saltwater kind.



U wont need many. maybe two jumbo size shrimp.
