Simple light question?

Hello everyone,

I have a 25g tank and I bought a light system that is 4x24 t5ho, is that a newer or old technology? The light sets about 4 inches above the tank should I do away with the tanks glass lid(nano reef)?

that is a good fixture for your tank. i would remove the glass lid.

Thanks for the help mr X! The light system seems nice but it also has led's that turn on at night when the other lights shut off. I did research on the system deepblue solar extreme, but I could not find out if this light is strong enough to develop my live rock? The tank is 19'' deep?

live rock doesn't need any light, but if you want to grow coralline algae on your rock, you only need a curly-Q energy saver bulb to do so. that light is plenty strong.
