Snails vs Powerheads

My {moderator edit} snails keep getting caught in the intake of my powerhead. I've lost two snails in the last week.

What kind of snails? And what kind of powerhead?

Turbo snails and I'm not sure what kind if pump it is. All I know is it's intake is wide open so anything could get caught in it

Ya I'm gonna put a sponge over it I think or get a different powerhead

Well it turns out maxi jet makes a screen to go over the intake. Just got one (thx Rich) problem solved. One point for the snails!
