I really don't wanna put a leg in the middle. I feel like it will be in my way. I've got 3/4 plywood , 2- 4x4,s and I wrapped it with 2x4. Also attached to the wall. Next I cut the wall!!:)ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1394558917.504018.jpg

If you don't want to put one in the middle make sure the tank sits as far away as possible from the middle. If it was me tho I'd put one in the middle n just deal with rather than it bowing over time

Where is Brookster123 and Fisheggs? Here is mine. I just finished it and it's a 75g one too

Yours is gonna sway left to right. You need more support. The tank alone weighs 140lbs and the water will weigh 600lbs. That's a clean empty tank no filter lights substrate decor no nothing but water and tank

Nice stand! I'm gonna get the measurements of the sump and brace accordingly . I don't picture it swaying left to right. Just worried about the weight in the middle. I appreciate the input!! Keep it coming . Thank u

The best advice I can offer at this point is to study jwh's pictures as best you can.. Anything you build, get in top of it and move around,if it wobbles address it, this thing needs to be good for 1000 pounds, check out some you tube videos too! image-2306080844.jpg Hers the base plan I have jwh, it's a good starting point, use screws, no nails!

I like your idea of attaching it to the wall though. I almost decided to do that. I would definitely add support in the middle
