Starfish

About 10 day's ago I set a starfish in my tank (60 gal with 15 gal sump] and only sah it the first day. I don't know where he is,or if he still lives. Don't know what to do.?

It's buried itself under the sand. They eat what's in the sand bed. Unfortunately, it will starve to death because your sand bed looks brand new, which means there's No food in it.

My sandbed is about 40 day's old,so yes new! Should I try to find him and replace him in my old 30 gal tank. Just don't know how!

With sand sifters, it is only a matter of time before he dies in any tank. Once he eats all the food, he will starve. He will probably surface at some point. Mine lived for about 4 months and after a month of being in the tank, he would come up at least once a day.
