This is going to be my first saltwater tank. I have kept planted tanks in the past, but broke them all down to move across the country. Now I want to set up a small reef preferably around 10 gallons due to cost and size. I wanted to go rimless and try to only use a HOB and a power head along with live rock for filtration, but couldn't find a rimless 10 gallon for less than $100. So I was thinking about getting the Nuvo 10 gallon and buying a different light. I'm looking for a light that can grow coral well, but I won't have to suspend it very far above the tank and light up the whole room. As for the pump, I was thinking a Hydor Koralia 425. I want to keep the fish minimal and get coral. Although I want to keep easy coral, I like zoas and hammers.
I was thinking this might be a good light:

if anyone has experience with those on a 10 gallon let me know if they're good.

Thanks

I have a spare 4 gallon rimless tank along with a Finnex planted + led that goes on it. Would it be possible to have water pumped back and forth between the tanks? The 4 gallon would be a display refugium with some live rock, algae, and plants. I have a AQ 20 or 30 I can put on it. I was thinking of pumping the water between the tanks using 2 of these:
