I'm starting to plan my next tank, and it'll be my first SW, mainly because I love Pajama Cardinals. I've decided on a FOWLR set up and would like some feedback on what I'm thinking so far...

4 or 5 Pajamas, a pair of Banggai Cardinals, a few shrimp and either a Tang or a pair of Clownfish. From what I've read they're compatible.

For this, should I plan on a 40 or a 55 gallon tank... or bigger?

feel free to comment on the stocking plan too... I'm new to SW

Depending on the tang you want you are looking at a 75g tank pretty much minimum. Though you could look at angelfish which will be fine in a 40 or 50g tank. :)

Yeah I dont know about mixing pj and bangai cardinals... general rule is not to but ive never tried it personally

Thanks for the input! I'll go with the Pajamas... and Carey, I'll look more into Angelfish - thanks for the suggestion. I don't think I can fit a 70g, especially long, in my space, but I can try looking at a different room, too!

Thanks- more questions to come :)
