Stuff floating in tank

I just found this stuff floating around in my tank and its new as of today. I turned off the big pump in hopes that it would settle but it doesn't seem to be doing so. And ideas/ advice. It might be hard to see but it's the white stuff floating around.

Try running some filter socks or put a filter on ur return

is it on the glass or floating around

could be residue from the sand and rock that the circulation pumps blew out
as that tank looks new
