I have a small toadstool frag that has been doing fairly well the last two weeks--opening up and seemed to be growing. This morning it was tilted a bit and there was a blue-leg hermit crab on it. The crab has not really moved since then and the tilt seems to be getting worse. My question is, is it possibly drooping from the weight of the crab (the frag is not much bigger than it)? If so, should I try and manually remove it? Or is it that the frag is simply dying and the crab is doing its job?
Thanks,
Chris

It might be the weight. Just remove the crab and place on other side of tank. What are your water params

Sorry I didn't reply earlier, but thank you for the advice. I moved the hermit and before I knew it, it was right back on the toadstool. Moved it a second time, and it got the message. Not long after, it extended it's polyps and is looking more upright. Thanks again.
For what it's worth though:
1.0255 SG
0 NH3
0 NO2
0 NO3
7.9 pH (low, but this has been consistent for several months)
7 dKh
420 Ca

(Next time I'll try and remember to have these #'s on hand when I post) :)
