Ok I have a 36 gallon reef tank.
Currently I have these corals:
Anthelia waving hand coral
Pulsating xenia
Toadstool leather
Cabbage leather
Kenya tree
Duncan
Frogspawn
Candy cane coral
Mushroom

And I have the opportunity Wednesday to buy these corals for $50:
Kenya tree
Devils hand leather
Cabbage leather
Palythoas
Blastomussa
Dragons eye polyp
Neon green candy cane coral
Pulsating xenia
Birdsnest

Do you think this is too much?

that's a good deal
how big are they ?
I'd buy the ones that don't fit lol
I have tons in my 37 bow front myself some how always find room for more
but yes I have a second tank now so now I have lots of empty space and look for extras

I just frag them up as they grow and sell them off if theres too much
I'm a coral junkie why you think I joined AA LOL

They are not real big neon candy, blasto and dragons eye are all single head
Poly is 2 head
Not sure about the rest but yeah I wasn't gonna buy the cabbage and Kenya cause I have them but he said if I bought them both for $10 he would throw in the birds nest
I'm just not sure if I'm ready for a sps. 9 frags at my lfs would run me $150 if I got them out of the frag tank. So $50 is a heck of a deal

Here is the pic he sent me he said all the frags on the rack

I'm starting a sps tank (link is in my signature below)
still working on getting it all set up and ready to go
give it a shot can't beat $50.
what kind of lighting you have
I've been looking in to leds

I just wasn't sure if adding too much coral at once would hurt.

Funny thing is, is most everyone said I can't keep much of anything under power compacts and so far everything I have is doing great

its not easy thats for sure it's like a trial and error kind of thing lol
I have issues keeping certain corals in my 37 bow front with the HO t-5s X4 work great for zoos but found the leds work best on the SPS so now I use both

Do you know what the neon green candy cane looks like? it looks like my regular candy cane in his pic and he said its cause he doesn't have atinic bulbs in his tank

It glows real bright green under the blues if I had a filter for my camera I would have taken a pict so you could see
the camera just don't pick it up without a filter

what site is that seems your getting some good deals
yes it looks bleached under normal whites blues makem pop

He is trying to sell me a bam bam polyp for $ 15 more.

Most everything is single head or polyp but I guess they will grow pretty quick

Yeah I'm gonna pass on bam bam I think. Here was his pricing

Single head candy $5
single head blasto 10
Two head polytoas 10
Devils hand leather 5
Pulsating xenia 5
single head dragon eye 5
cabbage leather 5
Kenya tree 5
Birdsnest free

as far as SPS goes, birdsnest is one of the easier ones. Place it high in your tank with a lot of flow and see how it goes.

That seems pretty high on the dragon eye (one of the most common zoas) and palythoas to me. It's a little high on the bam bams.
