So I'm building a Coralife Biocube 29 gal and i just wanted to know if you can use under gravel filters with sand? (Please excuse me if this is a stupid question...) Also, can I have a airstone bubbler in a biocube?

I also would not use a bubbler in a salt tank. Power heads to move water are what is used for salt tanks. oxygenation happens at the surface.
I also agree that an undergravel filter is not a good idea. Here is an interesting read about them-
The Undergravel Filter Controversy

Undergravel filters are old technology that requires you to tear down the tank to clean it. Id go with a hang on the back filter for that size
