Using sea sand

My brother went to cancun, quintana roo, mexico and brought home enough sand for a 20 gal tank. Its quite cool and everything, i was just wondering if i should do anything (treat it) before using it for a new tank
(either SW or FW)

No, there is really nothing you can do to treat it. As long as you gathered it a little ways off the shore (to prevent getting polluted sand hopefully it will be ok.

So i just pour it in as if it was reg. gravel? any advise on that? Again, either SW or FW?
