You might want to add some activated carbon. That helps get rid of the cloudy water situation.

carbon works but need to becareful with the phosphate it release...
even the product says they don't have po4 however after my test they will release phosphate sometimes...so better keep the phosphate in check when u using active carbon.
PS: Blackdaimond is the one that i tested with horrible PO4 release after 30mins.

You could use Sea-Gel which is an activated carbon with a phosphate remover.
