Water gets cloudy when...

I added Seachems Reef Plus to my tank for the first time since I upgraded to the 120gal. I only added 4 cap fulls (1 capful per 20gal) and per the instructions I should have added 6. Why does the water get cloudy?

I have added Reef Pak Fundamentals when I had my 65gal, Reef Plus, Reef Complete, and Reef Carbonate at the same time. At that time I was dosing it wrong and it precipitated and killed my tang. Am I still dosing it wrong??

I test my levels before I dose anything now, Ca=350, Alk=3mg, Iodide didnt show.(before dosing)

Am I doing something wrong here?, I dont want to kill any of my corals.

Mine did the same thing when I added it to my tank. I jsut got a really bad feeling about it so I stopped dosing everything. Now I just do small water changes weekly to replenish CA, iodine, and other trace elements. I think it is much healthier then adding stuff to my tank. Cheaper too!
