Water level droping. Add fresh?

My new tank has its water level dropping. Of course, salinity is rising as well. Should I add freshwater to bring it back? RO water? Just more SW?

RO water. Adding saltwater would just raise the spg more. Salt does not evaporate.

Yep. Only replace SW when taking some out during water changes. Like Kurt said, when the water evaps, the salt is still there. That's why the salt readings are now higher.

I've found mine evaps more during heating season. Seems like I'm losing about 5g weekly in a 75 w/a 20g sump.
