That depends on what you are looking to do, FOWLR
or reef? If FOWLR
you can run it basically like a freshwater tank. You just want to make sure you have 1 lbs per gallon of rock and sand in the system as it is the biological filtration in our systems.
As for a reef, you'd want intense lighting to keep photosynthetic corals live.
The Taotronics LEDs you can find on Ebay and amazon for the best bang for your buck for this and they cover about 2 ft of tank. Check out reef octopus or eshopps for skimmers. Other than that it's hard to point one in the right direction without knowing what they want to do.
